Getting a fair EUR to CHF rate
The rate on this page is the mid-market rate. When you pay by card or change cash, compare what you are offered against it: the gap is the real cost of the exchange. If a card terminal abroad offers to charge you in your home currency, it is usually better to pay in the local currency. Our guides on the mid-market rate and dynamic currency conversion explain why.
